*-* How to Maintain CIICII Dog Grooming Scissors *-*
- Before you use the dog scissors, use the adjuster to adjust the tightness of the scissors, dog scissors will be sharper and smoother.
- Clean the dog scissors with clear and hot water, then dry with a soft towel. Put a few drops of alcohol in the joint and re-dry, this will help to absorb water in the joint. Put one drop of a top quality oil into the joint. Check the tension from time-to-time.
- Please be careful with the dog scissors, don’t drop from a high level, this will destroy marginal adaptation of dog scissors.
- Don’t use them to cut metal objects. The dog scissors can only be used for hair grooming, otherwise, it will shorten the life of using.

I did quite a lot of research before buying everything I need to groom my cavapoo at home and decided to save costs with the scissors. Overall it’s a really good bit of kit, scissors are sharp and easy to adjust, comb is decent. The only pair I didn’t think was up to par was the thinning scissors which isn’t as comfortable to use and snags on the coat (even when just using to tidy up around the face). For everything else you get though, it’s well worth the money.

In the hands of a novice I did a fairly good job on our King Charles, this breed looses hair but gets so heavy. I wish I had a before pic on this phone. (I’ll add a before later). The main thinin S. Done a great job at turning our little 2 foot sheep back into a beautiful KC. Makes it really easy. As this little lady is very sick. She has epilepsy. And is a scatty mare and afraid of everything. She was badly abused. Her left eye was taken from her owner by abuse. And breed to excess is in short 5yrs. So bringing her to a groomer is a big no no. So, this kit saves this lil pet a nervous breakdown..Thanks to the seller. You’ve got a new buyer

The scissors are sleek and sharp and make for a quick and easy cut. Used on day of delivery and even with my wriggly dog, I managed to trim his coat just right. They are comfortable to use and not too light. They seem like good value for money, but will need to confirm that after long term use. The only (minor) thing that let’s the purchase down is the case – the material inside is quite weak and I ripped one of the slots when I put the scissors in.
