– The camera quality is really good, with clear 1080p HD video both during the day and at night. It makes it easy to see everything happening in the room.- Setting it up was a breeze. The instructions were straightforward, and it didn’t take long to get it up and running.- The motion detection feature is quite handy. It sends alerts promptly, so I know when something’s moving around.- Love the two-way audio. It’s nice to be able to talk to my pets when I’m not home, and they seem to respond to my voice.**Areas for Improvement:**- Sometimes, the motion detection is a bit too sensitive. It picks up minor movements, which can lead to unnecessary alerts.- The app could use a bit of a redesign. It’s functional but feels a bit outdated and not as intuitive as it could be.- It would be great if the camera had a wider field of view to cover more area without needing to adjust its position.

I recently purchased the Blink Mini Pan-Tilt Camera, and it has been an absolute game changer for my home security and pet monitoring! This camera offers great features at an affordable price.Easy Setup:The setup was a breeze! I simply downloaded the Blink app, followed the instructions, and had the camera up and running in no time. The app is user-friendly and allows for easy management of the camera settings.HD Video Quality:The HD video quality is impressive! The clarity is excellent, and I can easily see every detail in my home. The night vision feature works surprisingly well, allowing me to monitor my space even in low light. I love being able to check in on my pets anytime, day or night.Pan-Tilt Functionality:The pan-tilt feature is fantastic for monitoring larger areas. I can remotely adjust the camera angle through the app, which gives me a full view of the room. This has been especially useful for keeping an eye on my pets when I’m away.Two-Way Audio:The two-way audio feature is a standout! I can communicate with my pets while I’m at work, which is great for reassurance and training. The sound quality is clear, making conversations smooth and effective.Motion Detection & Alerts:The motion detection works reliably, sending alerts directly to my phone whenever it senses movement. I can quickly check the live feed to see what’s happening, which adds an extra layer of security to my home.Alexa Compatibility:Being Alexa-enabled is a huge plus! I can easily integrate the camera into my smart home system, using voice commands to view the live feed or check on my pets. It adds a level of convenience that I truly appreciate.Overall:The Blink Mini Pan-Tilt Camera is an excellent investment for anyone looking to enhance their home security or keep an eye on pets. With its high-definition video, versatile functionality, and ease of use, it provides great value for the price. I highly recommend it to anyone in need of a reliable and affordable security camera!

This is my first camera like this, I wanted something simple and easy to view remotely on an app and this fits the bill.Price is good and setup is easy:- Install App (Blink Home Monitor)- Make an account (if you don’t have one)- Add camera using QR code on the camera (and on the box)Pros:- Price- Easy to setup- Video quality good- Listen to the audio from the camera AND ability to talk back to it- Great App – loads of config options such as night vision, recording light, volume, sensitivity for motionCons:- Currently the local storage additional module is not available so you are limited to their online subscription storage (free trial included). I’m not sure if you can record just to the App manually. Finally – the box comes with mounting screws but no instructions about how to get the bottom plate off and I cannot find an easy way to do it!

Easy to set up and great camera quality. The sound is very clear and responsive too, small 1 second delay. Plugs in to the mains and the design is clever. No issues with connecting to the WiFi and it’s never dropped out on us.

The blink mini indoor camera that pans and tilts is a great addition to any internal security system. It’s a very small and discreet camera which still has excellent video and sound quality. It has the ability to adjust the camera by panning and tilting as seen in the video and the photo shows how this is done in the smartphone app.Another great feature is the ability to speak into the smartphone app that then echoes from the camera live. Along with being able to use the app to see and listen live from wherever I am, is fantastic. The camera is durable and performs well, along with decent night vision.I ended up buying the blink subscription plan to take advantage of the ability to save and view old recordings which is ideal if I am away from home. The camera is excellent value for money considering its price compared to similar competitors.Overall an excellent camera for any internal security, it’s a welcome addition to my growing blink camera/security system!

This is one of those items you just don’t really think about. It’s easy to set up, has acceptable video/audio quality, works well in darkness, decent motion detection, links easily into Alexa routines, upgrades well with the pan/tilt accessory and is cheap.I have a number myself and have installed more for others. While nothing special, there is also nothing wrong with this item at this price point for linkage into the rest of Blink and Alexa. I could create a list of improvements that would make it better, but it is a basic camera and a low cost, and for that it needs no more and is worth the cost.If you don’t want to set up and integrated Blink network with Alexa, and don’t mind more complicated set ups and use, you can probably find better options elsewhere. But as a basic cheap addition to a blink network this does the job, does it well, and after using for years I can confirm does it reliably too. From comparing the mini 2 to this reminded me that I had never reviewed this, add drummed in exactly how reliable they are while providing great value for money this is. I just hope they don’t stop producing them in favour of the mini 2 as just because something is cheap and basic, that doesn’t mean it hasn’t got an ongoing need and use, particularly with the reliability levels I have experienced with them.

Great little size and clear picture. Smaller and clearer than our previous camera which broke down after three years (different brand). It was easy enough to connect to the WiFi but how do I receive motion alerts on my phone? Our other camera used to do this and I could go to the app and play all movement alerts to see what my dog was up to and see that he had been walking around the room but I can’t seem to do that on this camera? Can anyone help please? Thanks.

I rushed to buy this with some other cameras in the sale whilst I could. I hadn’t thought about where I’d put it except in the house in the future to keep an eye on our furkids when we are out. I thought I’d be able to put it on the windowsill by the back door in the conservatory but it can’t see through the blinds, so for now it’s on a high shelf so we can see if anyone is at the back door and every bloody car or person that walks past. Ha! I think we’ll get a bendy bracket and attach an outdoor blink from the roof so we can see through an unblinded window, in future. But apart from that, it’s an excellent camera. I’ve not tried looking outside in the dark with it yet, but indoors it’s great. I love the 360 oscillation. We tried it on the kitchen at first and I heard my husband shouting me whilst he was at work. Ha! He was showing his mate our messy kitchen. For the price it’s brilliant. I’ve noticed that when we get cars drive past the back door, the recording and alarm go off at 3-4 seconds before you see the car. It’s similar at night. If it sees a car headlight, even in the distance, we’ll get the alarm. It’s on setting 4, but I still find it odd. This doesn’t happen with our outdoor cameras. It really isn’t in a practical position right now as it goes off whenever we go out. We are in and out going down the garden, to the garage, or to the bins. This will be brilliant though we when we are able to view our furkids when we’re out. It is very sensitive. It also goes off at night due to orbs which in this case must be tiny flies as there are no visible flies that we can see. Highly recommend.

The Blink Mini offers great video quality with 1080p HD and clear night vision, and the motion detection and two-way audio are handy features for pet monitoring. However, setting up the Blink subscription membership was frustrating. Despite multiple attempts and reaching out to customer service, I couldn’t activate it, limiting the camera’s cloud storage capabilities. The device itself works well for live monitoring, but the inability to fully access features due to membership issues is disappointing. If you’re just looking for basic functionality, it’s fine, but those wanting full features might face difficulties with the subscription setup.
