A perfect protein level for my resting greyhounds. Good for teeth fed dry. I also feed fresh raw meat/egg/sardines 3 times per week resulting in happy healthy and balanced weight dogs with good coats

Mixing this with a large breed puppy food to transition my lab onto adult food on the recommendation of my dog trainer. She’s loving it so far.

Cheap quality food but made my dogs really gassy so wouldn’t repurchase but would recommend to people.

  9. Haemorrhagic Gastroenteritis

A few days after receiving this product my dog experienced an acute bout of haemorrhagic gastroenteritis. Spent 3 days in doggy intensive care and nearly died. Still hasn’t fully recovered. Vets ran a shed load of tests but no underlying conditions detected. No idea if this was linked to this food, but just wondering if anyone at Dr Johns can advise if there have been any faulty batches/ product recalls that might correspond with my pups unfortunate with of events across mid August? She’s a 9 year old medium sized mix breed. Never really had any issues up to now and she has been on this food for approx 1-2 years.
