Doggie Don’t is a handheld dog repellent and bark control device that uses a loud sound (over 100 decibels) to deter bad behavior. Pet owners, dog trainers, and rescues use this training aid to humanely modify unwanted habits. Doggie Don’t can also be used to protect yourself and your pet from other animals.
Inspired by our own experience fostering dogs, Doggie Don’t gives dog owners a new tool to modify behavior. We are a dog-loving, woman-owned, US-based company. We donate product to rescue groups and shelters. Our goal is to help keep dogs out of shelters and to help people help their dogs.

My little miniature Pinscher was a shocker for barking at everything; the vacuum cleaner, the tv, the yard brush, birds! She barked when I took out the bin. She barked when I put my coat on. She even barked when I stood up. Worse, she barked late at night when I put her out in the garden for her final wee before bedtime. Nightmare! I had to do something. I really didn’t want to take the route of using punishment type devises; she’s not a bad dog, but I did want something that told her instantly to stop the kind of behaviour that ultimately distressed her as much as me. So I did some research. Doggy Don’t is expensive, no doubt about it, but my need was greater than the cost of a possible solution and I desperately needed a solution. After the devise arrived I read the instructions and gave it a go. INSTANT RESULTS!!!!! My little dog stopped barking the moment I simultaneously held up my palm, pressed the button and called “NO BARKING”. She chanced her arm a little later and I repeated the procedure with the same result.A week later she can look out of the window and not bark at the birds. She lets me empty the bin without going bonkers. When I put my coat on all remains calm. The neighbours are spared their rude awakening in the late evening. But best of all, my little dog is so much calmer and far less stressed (and so am I). If she starts to bark, I simply give her the command to stop and she does. But the command also works for other irritations like her habit of digging holes in my lawn – now a thing of the past – and I don’t need to use the DD devise anymore. I call that a great success and I don’t begrudge the cost.My Doggy Don’t now sits languishing in a drawer unused…but not unappreciated.

My two dogs would not stop barking every time we went into a park for our daily walks. This was used once and they stopped immediately. What a fantastic product. I also use it on occasions if my larger dog takes a dislike to another dog to stop further aggression.

Bit pricey …but does the job …even though its loud , but certainly makes him aware he’s being a good boy …its mainly to stop him pulling me , great training aid .I would recommend it x it’s also stopped him jumping up at anyone x I reward him & he listens so it’s all good

Didn’t work for my male Rhodesian ridgeback he’s just looked puzzled when I pressed it didn’t stop him from being naughty. Can’t justify £47.99

Bought this product following reviews. #biggest waste of money. Does not work at all. Wish I could send it back. Lot of money for nothing more than a big piece of plastic.

Oh dear. I did not read the description properly. I genuinely think this damaged my eardrum. I have kept it just in case of dog attacks.

I’ve a Newfoundland who’s developed lead reactivity, which is fear based having been attacked and bitten by another dog that was off the lead (no owner in sight), and as a consequence she now often lunges and barks at other dogs. I’ve tried training, therapy, etc., which works to a degree. I’ve also tried herbal remedies. Hoping to overcome the issue, and not wanting to put her on real medication, I thought I’d try this product, too, thinking it might stop her reactions as soon as they started. Sadly it had absolutely no effect whatsoever. She totally ignores the device. But it does stop other dogs approaching us, which is really good so I’ll keep it. (I’ve now tried Pet Corrector Spray (red can), which I’m pleased to say does work. It breaks her focus long enough for me to regain control.)

Expensive. Worked at first and still does but not in moments of high excitement..for example the arrival of a parcel etc. Have used sparingly but my year old border collie still thinks he can shout louder (which unfortunately he can) I think it’s all about the timing. Worth a try for anyone at the end of their tether!
