Ok so first of all mine weigh 50kg and 40kg and do not swim without a jacket ever. I have a red large and a yellow xlThey are bulky solid dogs and not much fits them properly.The jackets fit great there are so many adjustable straps. The buoyancy was better than any other jacket we have had (and I’ve given away 6 recently)a rough guide the colour at the top stays above the water and the black bit is in the water. As you can see from the zoomies pic they do not hinder the shoulder movement at all. No rubbing from the straps at all either. they were comfortable very quickly leaping from the bank into the water the jacket just kept them nicely balanced and positioned in the water . I didn’t try to lift them with the handles but the jackets are very well made from good material . I’m sure I could haul them out if I needed to . The water just ran off the jacket so much so that with a quick shake i just put them back in the van ,unlike some that seemed to hold onto it.So a full 5 stars from meIf I was really picky I would say the neck strap should have an arm each side and clip In the middle rather than just one arm that clips at the side …but that’s being picky.Note my 2 swim in still water not the sea .

I got 2 of these for my dogs and they are great.One dog is a good swimmer, loves the sea, and the jacket allows him to swim for even longer without getting too tired.The other dog does not swim much yet but the jacket gives her some confidence.Tried paddle boarding with the dog, the jacket gives me some reassurance as well: safety first!They are easy to put on, lightweight, and allow full mobility, and good quality, they feel like they will last long.I highly recommend.

First time Murphy wore this yesterday. Easy to put on and he looks like a proper boating dog.havent given 5 stars as he hasn’t been in the water with it yet so not trsted it’s buoyancy. Bought 2 as hoping my older dog might be tempted in to swim as she is very arthritic.

I’ve never bought dog life jackets before so I have nothing to compare them to that’s said.The quality seems really good and they fit my dogs perfectly no issues, nova is pretty heavy due to her breed, when the inevitable happens and she fell from the canoe into the sea she bounced right back to the surface and started swimming back to the canoe. (She had never swam before).Plenty of adjustment available via the straps and the handle was super useful for fishing her out the water and back in the canoe.

Our elderly german shepherd is not naturally fond of water. After a rest deal of patience we managed to coax her onto the boat but then we were worried that if she fell into the water it would be difficult getting her our.The EzyDog jacket is a good fit. There are comments on the website about sizing so we ordered the smaller size which is a large rather than the extra large for her. The straps are easily adjustable and she tried it on at home with no complaints. She has been out twice with it and wears the jackets throughout the cruises without noticing it unless her harness which she tries to get off at every opportunity.The handle on the back of the jacket looks small but is very strong. We can use that to lift her off the bathing platform if the gap is a bit too wide for her to attempt herself.We would recommend this jacket for anyone with a dog going on boats as even if they love a swim a wet dog is very slippery and can be difficult to pick up from the water.

I bought this for my 10kg Border Terrier to canoe with us in the knowledge that when Max jumped in the river or lake he could be picked up without a problem occurring and he would be safe if he tired in the water. Well I wasn’t disappointed at all when this was put to the test! Max is a good strong swimmer but any dog can get into trouble on the river. When canoeing with your dog you must never tie them into the boat for the boat if tipped would drag the dog under, therefore there is more risk of the dog falling in which is exactly what happened when we hit a little white water. Max bobbed up like a cork and totally relaxed until the canoe behind us was able to grab the handle and pick him out of the water. When he later went in for a swim he could move freely and was comfortable walking in the aid too. I did order the XS size but returned as it was short on the back. Well made with a strong handle and clips and kept Max warm and dry.

Highly recommend this, it was a good fit for my dog; having used their sizing guide.The adjustable straps are great for getting the best fit.The handle of the top is useful for ‘holding’ dog up in water (giving him more confidence) and also for getting him out on steeper banks etc.The lead attachment point is also useful.Only thing I would say to be aware of is on a hot day take the jacket off out of water. I thought it might help to keep him cool after a splash about but checked after 10-15mins and was pretty hot so off it came (although it doesn’t say it keeps them cool, I just thought it might).It’s light and dries pretty quickly; I either leant it against wall, or laid it flat on a clothes airer outside.
