My Frenchie has a lot of power when he goes on his stubborns, but this year really does take his weight. It gives enough length for him to enjoy some rolling on the grass during walks. Would highly recommend this product, and was delivered quickly too.

This is excellent for walking at night, the reflection is excellent and the mechanism is very sturdy. The only reason I dropped a star is because the ribbon twists easily and you need to keep an eye on it or it doesn’t retract.It does not prevent use.

Why did the say was going to be delivered 18th July by 10pm now being delivered by 21 th that’s a big change. And they want to to pay for prime. –

Can’t really recommend this. Two stars for being hi-viz, coming with a bite-proof extension, and having a comfortable grip. Unfortunately I have several negative points:> The sliding button to lock the trigger is stiff and difficult to use, particularly with gloves.> The spring is not really strong enough. I suppose there is a balance to be struck and you don’t want to give your chihuahua whiplash but it doesn’t pick up the slack readily enough. This is related to my third point.> The aperture is more or less rectangular and the slightest twist in the tape prevents the tape from retracting – it just jams in the opening and the spring isn’t strong enough to rewind the tape. This quickly results in a tangled dog and a risk of tripping over the loose tape. I have had several nasty moments and have stopped using it because of this. My previous retractable lead (which the dog bit through) was of the Flexi brand. This has a crescent-shaped aperture allowing the tape to rewind from any angle and never jams. I have re-stitched the severed end and have gone back to using it.
