How to fit and get started with the Halti No Pull Harness
Step 1: To select the right size Halti No Pull Harness for your dog, we always recommend measuring you dog’s neck and then referring to our sizing guides. More details about how to measure your dog can also be found on our sizing guides.
Move the slider on the back of the harness near to the ring at the top of the leg straps.
Step 2: Hold the harness with the chest piece facing you and using a treat, lure your dog’s head through the neck hole and place the neck and leg straps over your dog’s head.

Step 3: Lift your dog’s front paws (one at a time) through the leg straps and adjust the padded leg sleeves so they sit in your dog’s armpits.
Step 4: Use the sliders to adjust the neck strap fit. You should be able to get 1-2 fingers between the strap and your dog’s neck.

Step 5: Move the leg strap slider back down so it is around 5cm away from the guide rings.
Step 6: We always recommend using a Halti double clip Training Lead for the best no-pull training experience. Attach the small clip on your lead to the front control ring on the harness and the larger clip to the back ring of the harness.

Step 7: Take your dog to a quiet place and whilst holding your lead in both hands practice walking around using the harness. You should only engage the harness when your dog is actually pulling. Its unique patented design works with a combination of stop pull lifting action and front control. Continue to reward your dog when they are walking without pulling.

After struggling to find a harness to fit our reactive Terrier and help keep him under control,we stumbled upon this .We struggled to find a harness to fit that didn’t rub on him or make him uncomfortable, we tried loads of others , this one though is way more comfortable for him being heavily padded , fits really well and it’s easier to control him . Definitely recommend giving this sturdy very well made harness a try .It’s a bit odd and a bit of a puzzle to put on at 1st but once you’ve worked it out it’s easier to fit the 90 % of any of the many harnesses we have tried

I can’t recommend this harness enough. We have a beagle and he’s so strong. I was getting to a point where I was thinking I would have to rehome him as he pulled so much when walking, he was traffic reactive and I was scared he would pull us both into the traffic and I could not stop him.We tried so many different harnesses, all with bad results, until we tried this one. Absolutely amazing. Over night he was a different dog to walk. No more pulling. Still a nuisance cos he’s a beagle lol but this harness has been so good.My only criticism would be that the backing on the breast plate is mesh and it just collects all of his hairs in to and I can’t get them out. We have three of these harnesses, so that I can always have one clean so that they don’t get too smelly.

Good quality harness but no easy way to remove it or put it on. The loop on the back has to be lengthened or shortened to get it over the dog’s head as their is no simple fastening. The loops that go under the chest are well padded but you have to bend the dog’s legs to feed them through. My dog hates this so it is not likely to work for me.It does stop the pulling somewhat but the head collar by Halti does a better job and is easier to put on and off.

This is an amazing product after trying out multiple different brands this is by far the best. Our little River is 100 times better on this harness, I brought the lead by the same brand separate easy to use, really good quality strong padding is great she’s very comfortable using it we brought a medium and it will last a long time as you can adjust the size. Thank you feel so much better about our walks now ❤️

Absolutely amazing! Used twice on our very strong and stubborn Patterdale Terrier. Completely prevents him from being able to pull, he is a bit wingy as he wants to pull but we are taking extra treats and imagine after a week will be used to it.**Update he doesn’t seem to have got used to it and it is making him aggressive towards everything whilst it’s on….still cannot pull but the nervous winging has got worse such a shame as walked so much better.

Honestly if you’re a dog owner like me where your dogs are more like your own children than your pet then I can’t fathom how PLEASED I am that this actually works!! Loki has been a pain for quite some time now (spaniels am I right 😅) he’s turning 2 in August. My partner would be the only one that could control him on walks (he’s 6’4 muscular man and I’m 5’6 and scrawny 😂😂). Loki would pull me down the street right up until he was off the lead and onto his long line to throw the ball, suddenly became good as gold. I had my doubts if this was actually going to work but ordered anyway and as soon as we both stepped foot out the door I wasn’t feeling any pain and better yet Loki wasn’t pulling me half across the country. It’s a sturdy fit, you can loosen and tighten it pretty easily. I got the two clip dog lead from Amazon to go with it to clip on the front and back of him.Honestly 10/10 will be buying again for our lab cross puppy when he’s older!

Very easy to fit and remove and it’s very good quality. No clips like others so there is no chance of escape as we found with another of the supposedly good (Julius) harnesses on which the clip snapped and our dog was then straight out. Front attaching point is good at stopping pulling aswell and our dog seems very comfortable wearing it. Perfect.

This harness doesn’t stop the pulling but it does reduce it.I was looking for a harness to help my feral 7 month,14kg pup stop pulling. I walk my 5kg dog and pup together and I was just so fed up with being dragged and my little dog being dragged with me. I just felt so disheveled and exhausted after I walked him. I trained my 52kg Akita and she was a handful at first, but this boy is just relentless.I already had a “no pull harness” (and I say that loosely) but it just wasn’t cutting it, so I jumped on amazon to see what i could find.I came across the halti harness and thought that may do the trick. I looked at others but they were more of a string type and we feared that those harness would cut into his armpits.I measured my pup, looked on the halti harness diagram and choose the harness size to suit him, which was medium and it fits perfectly. The first time that I put it on my pup, he turned to me and gave me a look to say ‘what’s going on?”, he wasn’t overly impressed but carried on trying to pull but not getting as far as he did when he wore his previous harness. As a bonus I now feel that my arm is not going to be ripped out of it’s socket everytime i take him for a walk.We originally wanted to change his harness, from the ones that go over the head and clip both sides of the body, as with this type of harness when he was pulling the front of it kept riding up to his throat and putting pressure on it, plus it didn’t stop him pulling. With the halti harness it sits comfortably in the right place. It also has a soft tube (although it moves) that covers the straps going under the armpits. The glider can be a bit fiddly/frustrating, especially when you have an impatient pup, but the straps are nice, thick and sturdy and do not cut into him.It has a clip at the front and one on the top and also a little grasp finger hoop (well I think that’s what it is??) It has a padded chest piece and the quality is nice. When we go out for a walk we put his training halti lead on, when we get to the field we put his 10m flexi lead on to let him have a run. We were concerned that it would hurt him when he got to the end of the 10 metres which he usually does as full speed, but seems absolutely fine with it and carries on chasing and playing with his sister. On the walk back, I put back on his halti lead, but instead of having it in my hand I put it across my body, wearing it on the opposite shoulder to the side my pup is on and I clip both clips to the top of the harness. This is when training him becomes easier, I have a hand free to give him treats, he is tired from a run (more likely to listen) and it’s a bit harder for him to pull a (–)kg person, so he’s right by my side, obviously I stop with him when he wants to sniff, etc. It makes a more of a pleasurable walk.To help with his loose lead/stop pulling training, I do try and wear him out with a flirt pole in the garden for around 10 minutes, this helps him concentrate a bit more and we also use threshold training with him before a walk, for him to have a calmer state of mind.Time will tell with his training, but this harness gets a thumbs/paws up

Such a steal!
I purchased one of these at Pet Supplies for over $50 and loved it, but we lost it. I came on here and found one. I was skeptical that it was the same brand since it was so cheap, but it’s the exact same! Great quality and it works! The size is adjustable and leaves room to grow. The straps make it adjustable. The padding under his legs are comfortable so he doesn’t mind walking with it! Our boy is a puller and this stops it completely! The appearance looks so nice for the price! 10/10 recommend.

Excellent quality, seems comfortable for pup
I love this Halti harness, I purchased two med for my 62lb Vizsla and his 34lb 4 month old brother with size Med working for both dogs. Fits the large chest, thin neck of a Vizsla body type well. I like that the nylon straps at the neck are softer than standard harness nylon. I like how easy this harness is to apply and remove. The harness feels very durable and should last a long time.
