Does EXACTLY what it’s supposed to. If your pill isn’t being pushed out then you probably haven’t pushed thr rubber end on far enough. There are, admittedly, no instructions but it’s not rocket science.

The popper just doesn’t work for pills. It wouldn’t release the pill into my cats’ mouth no matter what I did. Such a shame as I love the idea, but using a good old fashioned method of putting the pill in with my fingers is so much better.

  3. Mrs MacIver

My small dog is needing medication twice a day, this makes it so easy to give tablets without needing me to stick it down her throat. I’m thankful for needing to do that anymore.

  4. Shirley

Does the job and not expensive, just pop the pill in the little bit with a slit in it.

  5. DonnaB

Not a smooth process, some pills do not fit the tips and pushing the applicator makes no contact

I’ve got a demon of a cat. Usually the only way to give her pills was to crush them, mix them with water and use syringe. She is now on Chlorambucil and unfortunately this pill cannot be crushed and I cannot find a liquid alternative. So my life has been hell in the past few months. My hands are full of scratches and bites.A friend recommended this and I can’t believe it worked. The pill fits perfectly into the device. I was able to push it quite far down her throat so she couldn’t spit it out like she usually does. 5 stars!

Doesn’t release pill and bit large for small cat. Although says for small cats.

If your dog isn’t keen on taking pills, this is one solution. You can get to the back of the tongue easily and deposit the tablet or capsule without having to brave teeth and slimy doggy saliva. Getting the pill to sit into the pincer at the end is a bit tricky sometimes, but once you have the knack it works fine. Perfect for relucant dogs and those with mouths too small to accommodate human fingers.

    Incredibly effective!
This pill popper is a godsend. The silicone tip is perfectly flexible, yet firm, yet soft-touch for comfort. The syringe-style plunger has the perfect amount of resistance and smooth action. Our pills have gone down my kitties perfectly and without fuss. The last piller I’d been using for years would have me swearing in frustration as I failed pilling attempts. I’m administering size 3 capsules to cats, and this is perfect. Even comes with replacement tips for when the silicone eventually gets too weak or worn out. Excellent, 10/10!
