Bought this dog bed for my 12 year old Labrador who has arthritis. He absolutely loves it and spends a lot of time sleeping on it. It has held up well for the last few months and is easy to wash. The zipper for the cushioned edge can be a bit tricky but I like that you can wash the entire outside cover. I also like that the whole cover is removable as with some dog beds this isn’t possible and the cushion goes flat over time. The foam base is very soft but also supportive. It is well worth the price

I’ve struggled to find a dog bed big enough for our American Bulldog that doesn’t cost a fortune. We bought the XXL for Max, he weighs 45kg so quite a big boy and it’s the perfect size for him. The memory foam seems good and the side cushions are nice for dogs to rest their heads on but also flexible so they can really stretch out against them. Can’t complain, overall happy with my purchase.

Really good quality, supportive Orthopaedic memory foam mattress, which is a good thickness and still lovely and soft, along with the snuggly cosy cover, this bed is a big hit with my slightly arthritic 13 year old girl. The fact that the covers are removable and machine washable is a bonus.I ordered this at 6pm and it arrived at 11am the next day, which to the Isle of Wight is impressive!

Seems well made and the mattress part feels good and comfy but the sides are not as the photo -they are fairly shallow and a bit underfilled so they sag back. It’s not a bad bed but I’ll admit to being a bit disappointed having seen the blurb and read the product details – I was expecting something a bit deeper and more plush.

This is the best bed my dog has ever had and I am speaking on his behalf.Through trial and error we have tried so many different dog beds throughout the time we had him and now more than ever it was important to find the right one to support his joints and his fragile bones because he has become a senior dog.This bed is it. This is the bed you want to get for your dog. The comfiest of all dog beds out there which supports your dogs bones, joints and happiness.This bed is very thick, the memory foam is very good in it, we let it sit for around 3 days before letting our dog use it and that was the right thing to do because over those days it has thickened to the advertised size and when our dog rests in it it is clear that the bed does not sink and retains its thickness, we sat in it ourselves and the support this bed provides even at human weight is unreal!For what you’re paying for this bed you are getting a bargain!Our dog being a senior now has also had an accident on this bed within the first two weeks of getting it. Not his fault at all and it wasn’t a urinary accident either. It was so easy to strip the bed and wash it, wipe the mattress clean and it came out of the wash just as fluffy, just as soft and just as form fitting to the mattress as before. The easiness of this bed is amazing!It has been a relatively long time now since we have purchased this bed and it is still as thick and as soft as it was originally and our dog adores it! He would previously complain and refuse to sleep in his old beds but ever since we got this one, he has never made a fuss!Here are some pros and cons:+ the price is extremely good for what you’re actually getting+ the memory foam in this bed is perfect! It is such good quality that it offers full weight support for our border collie/Aussie cross and he looks so comfy and snug in it.+ it comes with an adorable bone toy which squeaks and our dog sleeps with it in his bed to this day he adores it+ the memory foam mattress does not sink to the floor when sat on by human and offers padding and support. If that’s the case for me then my dog must certainly be a lot comfier and it shows+ the cover is so easy to clean and strip from the mattress, upon washing it it retains its softness and shape+ the mattress comes in a waterproof covering on it which is so easy to wipe clean if an accident happens+ the bed is very true to size but I would suggest going a size up if you would like for more room for your dog to stretch out. We ordered a Large for our border collie / Aussie cross and it is perfect and allows room to stretch out.- absolutely no cons, buy this bed!

Couldnt wait for this bed to arrive as my frenchie has been sleeping in my bed for ages and refuses to sleep in any other dog bed through the night. It arrived vacuum packed no smells easy to set up, we left it a full day to fluff up as advised (love how the zip is concealed as can be a chew/choke hazard when exposed) just added her blankets and she has slept in it ever since !! Super comfy ,nice design and easy to clean she loves her new bed i ordered the medium so that she can stretch out when sleeping and its perfect for her size (shes a french bulldog) and i now have my bed to myself !!..win win lol …they also sell the replacement covers,pads and bolster pillow which is super handy,i will be ordering a replacement cover to use while one is in wash..very happy dog and dog mom!!!

I bought the xl Joyelf for my springador as he’s coming up for 8 now and we could see that his other bed wasn’t good enough underneath him..he doesn’t look to get on the sofa now he has this bed,he springs up in the morning looking refreshed compared to before so his joints are clearly happier on his new memory foam mattress..it is lightweight to move around when cleaning..I feel it will last a good few years to be honest..it looks good,fits in well in our lounge..lovely soft outer with strong comfortable foam inner which has a waterproof side to mattress cover that protects the memory foam from any accidents..will be easy to wash

I almost didn’t buy this…glad I did
I just received this and opened it in my basement because I was concerned that some of the reviews mentioned a strong odor. I in fact ALMOST didn’t purchase this one because of the odor comments. There just the usual odor from vacuum seal plastic and new memory foam. I gave 4 stars for chew resistance because 1) my old girl is not going to be chewing her bed 2) Chew resistance depends on the item and your dog. I’ve seen big bully breeds eat through fire hose material! The one I received came with the bolster already installed. Rather than everything loading in from the bottom, it has a hidden zipper up top for access to the bolster should the cover need to be washed or the bolster replaced over time. The memory foam goes in through a separate bottom loading compartment. The memory foam is solid and firm. About 4 inches after having been opened and expanding for a few hours so it may end up thicker. As a Veterinarian I advise clients that with memory foam pet bedding firmness and bounce back are more important than thickness. I actually laid down in the constructed bed on my cement basement floor. I could not feel the cement. I purchased this for a 43 lb 15 1/2 year old Labrador with a serious spinal injury, and hind limb paralysis. I’m 5′ 2″ and weigh in at 110 lbs so I am confident that once this is fully expanded and my dog gives it a try it will be supportive and comfortable for her. My goal is to preserve blood flow, prevent pressure sores, and support her fragile spine. The material in the sleeping area is attractive and very very soft. The mattress has a plastic material cover that has a top and bottom side with labels to indicate. Pay attention! The top side is WATERPROOF. It is marked to indicate that it is the top side…the side that the dog will lay against. The bottom side appears to be more water RESISTANT. I think if a water bowl spilled and got under the bed for a length of time the water would be absorbed up into the memory foam through the lower side of the mattress cover. The mattress is protected from urine leakage and spills by the plastic top, however I recommend and will be using washable cloth “pee pads” under my dog’s hind end to protect the bed and make clean up easier. The bolster area is covered in super soft material and is high enough to add security, comfort and neck/head support but has enough give to allow for proper cervical alignment. I usually wait a bit to do reviews, but so far I am pleased with this purchase and excited to see how it works for my dog. I’ll be back after a few days of use with an updated review and this bed in action. One more thing: The toy is too small to be given to the size dog this bed (XL) would be purchased for. It also has a loose squeaker inside. The squeaker is a choking hazard if your dog likes to perform surgical removal on this type of toy and the whole toy is easily pulled apart and too small to be used by a medium or large dog. But I didn’t;t buy the bed because it came with a toy and that is not how you should choose a dog bed either. Safety and comfort first.
