Can multiple people see my dog on their phone?

With your permission, yes. They just need to download the PitPat app and you can ‘share’ your dog with them.

Can I have multiple dogs in the same app?

Yes! Each dog just needs their own device. You can then easily flip between your dogs’ profiles in the PitPat app.

Is there a subscription or any hidden fees?

No! Once you’ve bought your PitPat GPS, there is nothing more to pay to be able to find your dog whenever you need to.

How accurate is PitPat’s GPS tracking technology?

PitPat uses GPS technology to find your dog’s location. Under normal conditions, it can track your dog’s location to within a few metres.

How long will the battery last?

With normal use, most people will have a battery life of weeks instead of days, thanks to our clever tech designed to reduce power consumption.

We have had our device for about a year now and it has work faultlessly up until about a week ago when it started losing connection.Up to that point, we had had no issues at all with the device or its connectivity. We contacted their customer service team who were very polite and professional and they quickly arranged to send out a replacement FOC.We signed up to their subscription service about a month after first using the product and would recommend doing this if funds allow, as it does provide access to a greater number of features, Facilities and discounts on food etc.We are very happy with the product and the customer service and would recommend you give this product some serious consideration when making your choice.

We have been using this for about 1 week and tested it about 20 times and it seems to work whenever our phone has a signal. It takes about 3 minutes to switch on before you can track your dog so we switch it on as soon as we start a walk. Initial accuracy seems to be very good – within 20 meters – and then improves as it pings the device a few times. Our dog is very small – about 3kg – cat sized and this device is not too big or heavy. In short it seems to do exactly what it was intended for. Battery life seems great – a bigger battery would require a heavier device which would not be ideal for us. Obviously we cant comment on its longevity.

I use The PitPat app to try and find the PitPat as I had mislaid it somewhere in the house and it told me it was walking up and down the road which it wasn’t that my dog was behind me to the right and my dog was sitting next to me on the sofa and quite frankly, I think it’s not a very good product and it’s very expensive and I can’t even find it to send it back but apparently it’s wandering up and down my road on its own .

The PitPat GPS tracker has been a life saver on at least 2 occasions since having it over the last 2 months, for keeping tabs on my dog.Its lightweight design ensures that my dog doesn’t feel burdened, and the device securely attaches to their harness via a velcro loop. The real-time tracking feature provides peace of mind, allowing me to monitor my dogs activity and location through the associated app, although it’s sometimes slightly behind but not a massive issue as knowing your dog is in the area is good enough. The device also records insightful data about my pet’s exercise, showing me various stats. The battery life is also impressive, lasting for an extended period without constant recharging and way better than other well known makes.I’ve charged it 3 times in 2 months. The app is easy to use, hitting ‘start a walk’ when you leave the house activates the real time tracking.Overall, the PitPat GPS tracker is a reliable and effective tool for pet owners who want to prioritize their pet’s safety and well-being with no subscription fee.

Overall the tracker worked ok, sometimes it loaded on the app very quickly, but most of the time it took well over two minutes to load (which feels like forever when you can’t find your dogs)Unfortunately even though the product seemed robust, my Pomeranian was able to destroy the tracker beyond saving within minutes.I would get another if the price was right (and I knew my dog wouldn’t kill it)

Got this for our small border terrier, I was worried it would be too big for her and it would be if it went on her collar, putting it on her harness takes that concern away, easy to set up and easy to attach to her harness, we are confident that it won’t come loose, that it is not uncomfortable for her, the main thing is we know where she is, sometimes she gets distracted and doesn’t come back when called instead of our hearts beating out of chests we can easily walk towards her direction knowing wear she is by checking the app! We don’t have fear of taking her off lead just in case anymore making hers and our dog walks stressless and more enjoyable, expensive side initially but more economical because there are no subscriptions – highly recommend 😊

The tracker itself is neat and easy to set up. The app is easy to use and appears well written . BUT…. the device itself takes an age to charge …5 hours or more..which these days is very slow…its not very good if the phone signal is not 100% …it continually loses connection which according to PitPat will cause the battery to run down quicker…..which it did on a number of occasions …again if it can’t contact their network you get messages from the app notifying you so …..but these are not much use if you can’t track the dog anyway…the response time from initiating tracking to getting a location can be upto 5 minutes…which is too long when you have lost the dog…..and again depends on signal strength and if the tracker can actually see the GPS satellites…which was a bit hit and miss….overall …nice little unit …nice app…nice people at PitPat..but doesnt work very well for me ….

We have a frequent escaping dog,so this Pitpat tracker has, been put to good use. GPS shows exactly where your dog is and the charge lasts for days. Also does not require a subscription, well worth our purchase 😉

Would not connect to cellular service in rural southwestern Ontario.
After consulting the manufacturer was still not able to make unit make a connection to cellular service. Had to return the item. Customer service by email, took 2 days each time to reply.

    Won’t charge
Like the GPS, size is small, GPS tracking is reasonable but we are unable to recharge it.
