My dog seems comfortable with this collar. It is well made and has an adjustable velcro closing which allows for comfort. It also has the added security of a velcro collar. It doesn’t disturb him when he sleeps and he can still drink and eat with it on ( although it can have a shovel effect and send things flying). I am very pleased with this as he cannot reach his paw. I wanted a comfortable collar for him and this was the second one I ordered, the first one, which was a different brand was totally useless as was far too soft. This one is great as it has padding and flexibility closer, around the head, with the plastic, more rigid cone on the outer edge, doing it’s job perfectly. Very happy with this purchase. Well worth the money.

Nice and soft for their neck. Does bend slightly but only when they run full pelt into walls 🤦🏼♀️ loads better for the neck compared to the plastic ones from the vets. We went off the guide and bought a medium for an English bulldog. I think depending on your shape of bulldog it’s a good fit. Would buy again but probably would go for a large so it’s longer. Windows aren’t see through they are like frosted. Really easy to get on though literally wrap it round. The valcro is really strong and there’s an added clip

It was good for a short while and being able to bend it back to feed my dog was great until my dog also realised it could bend its own cone back in certain ways to reach her own pawsWe are still using the cone as it deters her a bit but when unattended shes back trying at her paws which is stunting the healing process, opportunist!The “transparent” bit is a bit pointless as the dog can’t see through it as it is cloudyIt does seem comfortable, the velcro area is good and the padded neck area tooWon’t let me share a picture for some reasonI wouldn’t recommend though

These cones ate great not like the hard plastic ones vets give you. I’ve used this cone on both my dogs now post op. They happily sleep with it on rest their heads on the inner padding. They do bend easily but pop back into shape. So if dog bumps into anything they don’t get the same shock as the hard plastic ones that dig into their neck. Lots of cushioning inside these my vet was really impressed with it.

This did a good job at keeping my dog away from his wound, However it hadn’t occurred to me that the velcro would be so loud next to his ear. He’s already quite sensitive to noise, But the velcro area is quite massive and very loud. I’ve made it a bit of an ordeal to Remove the Cone.Otherwise, he was quite Comfy in it and able to rest, with the cone being bendable.

Currently using on a normally nervous labrador following ear surgery. No problem getting him to wear it all day and night. I originally ordered a large (based on the recommended measurements) but this was slightly too big for his neck and he could manoeuvre it over his head, also it was too long. He couldn’t see and kept bumping into things and was getting distraught. Cut a bit off the length and keeping it for emergencies but now have a medium which is perfect. Just the right neck size (with enough room left to make it wider). Also the length much better – just goes slightly goes beyond end of his nose so he can’t scratch his ear. Not sure if would need it longer if the wound was elsewhere on the body to prevent licking etc. No problem getting my dog to wear it. The cone is made of soft material and has wide velcro as well as a velcro strap which makes it virtually impossible for him to get off (though he isn’t trying to remove it). Appears to be durable but only used for past 3 days. Very easy to put on and take off. So pleased to have got this and reasonably priced as the all plastic Buster one the vet was supplying was going to cost £11. Would definitely recommend.
