  • The Suitical Recovery Suit for dogs is a professional alternative to the medical cone and, as a full-body shirt, also provides comprehensive wound protection. It protects wounds, sutures, bandages, hotspots, skin problems and the environment of your dog
  • The patented design is based on the body shape and anatomy of your dog, so it adapts perfectly to the animal and guarantees a high level of comfort for faster and stress-free recovery. The Recovery Suit is recommended by veterinarians
  • The light and breathable fabric made of cotton and lycra gives your dog plenty of freedom of movement. The shirt is machine washable and reusable. Tip! It is recommended to buy two Suitical Recovery Suits. So you have one spare shirt while the other is being washed
  • The spacious rear opening makes it very easy for you to put your dog’s suit on and off. An easy hold-up system ensures carefree walks and the snaps near the base of the tail allow walking your dog without removal of the shirt
  • Important Information: Measure the distance from the nape of the neck to the base of the tail: 55-69cm / 21.7-27.2″ for size M. Take a look at the size chart to find the right size. If your dog is between two sizes, always choose the smaller size. For dogs with a disproportionate body size, like Dachshunds or Corgis: the suit is made of cotton and Lycra 4-way-stretch. The fabric can stretch widthwise and lengthwise in any direction. Take this stretch margin into account when choosing a size

Feature

1: Protective band on the neck, on the front and hind legs and tail:

A soft, elastic, protective band around the neck (extra high turtle neck for higher protection when needed), the front and hind legs and around the tail ensures that the Recovery Suit does not rub or cut into the legs and tail of the dog, but that the dog can move and heal in complete freedom. It is important to make sure that the dog is fitted with the right size, and to make sure that the shirt is not too tight.

2: Fully closed design, hold-up system for walking dogs:

In many cases, the surgical area for the male is very close to the urination area. The shirt is completely closed (regardless of gender) to ensure that the entire torso of every physique is protected. In order to be able to walk the dog or check the wound, a hold-up system was developed for the Recovery Suit. The shirt can be rolled up inside and secured with a snap. For the best protection, the shirt must always be closed again after a check or a walk outside.

3: Inner layer for fluid observation, bandages and ice packs:

The interior of the Recovery Suit is light blue so fluid loss can be checked by the veterinarian or owner. In the event of fluid loss, a sanitary towel can be applied on the inside of the shirt or between the double layer. If necessary, an ice pack can also be inserted between the double layer.

4: Closure & adjustable snaps:

It is virtually impossible for the dog to open the Recovery Suit itself because the opening is on the back. However, it is quick, safe and easy for the owner or veterinarian to put on and take off the shirt and the adjustable snaps can make the shirt slightly looser or more secure when needed.

Did the job. I was slightly worried as my dog is very nervous even when I’m putting his harness on so I didn’t have much hope and thought he will rip it off. He was wearing it for two weeks after his surgery with no problem. It really helped with not licking the wound. It fits well, just check the size chart. Easy to put on and easy fastening plus looks really cool 😎 Quality not bad however I’ve noticed a little hole on it and color slightly faded after few washes but generally good quality product.I would recommend take it off for a walk as after just rolling it up it came a bit wet after walking on longer grass.

This product is so much better than a cone. My poor dog refused to lie down and rest after the abdo surgery. This onesie however is brilliant. It’s very easy to put on and it’s nice and loose around the abdominal area, protecting the stitching. I haven’t washed it yet so cannot comment on the quality post wash but overall the product appears solid.Update: Washes really well and held up perfectly on 40C wash with full spin.

I tried a couple of cheaper options prior to my dog’s neutering but none fitted him as perfectly as well as the Suitical. He found it comfortable enough to wear throughout the day and it washed well without any bobbling stretching or shrinking. The rear poppers made it easy for toilet trips and were secure enough to withstand movement.

Our Lab had to have surgery to have her uterus removed and she was doomed to the ‘cone of shame’ for a while. After a few days I felt it would be nice to let her have the cone off in the day and just have it on for piece of mind at night. I have one of the inflatable ones but didn’t trust she wouldn’t be able to get to her wound or shaved areas were she had injections/fluids. I decided to look online for something and came across the Suitical recovery suit.I spent quite a bit of time contemplating which size to get – either Medium Plus or Large – and trying to measure her. She is a small, slender Lab at around 26kg, so I decided to go for the Medium Plus.It actually fit her pretty perfectly! The material (mostly cotton with a bit of lycra) – is pretty stretchy. New on, it was very hugging, but not too tight that she would be uncomfortable. The important part was that it was stretched over her everywhere apart from the tummy area where her wound was, which had a little roominess. So that was great as I didn’t want it to be tight and rub there. She was a little unsure what she had one her at first but soon go used to it and could tell she was so much more comfortable than being in that big ol’ plastic cone! So we kept her in this suit for around 1 week with wearing the cone at night, then another week with no cone at all. It’s been absolutely brilliant. Washed it twice and no issues there either. Also over time of her wearing it it’s loosened up just a bit for her. After the’d been wearing it for a while or sleeping in it, I did have to just shimmy it up a bit but that’s no big deal. The poppers at the back make it really easy to just unpop for when they want to go out for their business. You can kind of roll it up to keep the back bits out the way. I found there is 1 popper underneath and a strap with popper on inside. What I did was tuck the back parts inside then you can pop the strap bit around – although the back flaps could still come out if the shook or ran about enough so not too sure. I looked to see if there were instructions for their recommendation of how to use it but there wasn’t any in the packet. Again – no big deal though!I couldn’t comment on how long this suit would last with prolonged use, but it’s been great for the 2 weeks she’s had it on and if she ever needs it again (hopefully not!) then we have it ready to go. I wouldn’t hesitate to buy another either!

My gsd was spayed and with 5 siblings an inflatable cone would have been off in seconds, so I got a size L suit and I love it!! She’s on the smaller side for a Shep, so the large fit perfectly 🥰Comes in a cool little box to easily pack it away again, cool pattern and such a nice and comfy material! ✨

picture of my little girls butt! She needs to be spayed so we need a suit for her. this one is about the 8th or 9th and NONE are any good. yes, she can poo in it but she cant wee.she’s a chihuahua, 13 inches from back of neck to tail.the xxxs was put on her, she looked like a hotdog literally! yet according to the make, it should have fit her, so I ordered this one xxs and xs to see if they would work, not a chance! the xxs is way too big (so no in-between between the xxxs and xxs) but still no ability for her to pee.I thought the whole idea of these suits was to keep them one and let them do their businesses, but the only way she could manage that is to have it rolled up.ridiculous.I have even taken her to town to have her professionally measured as I thought it was me (it wasn’t) even her tape measure says the same, 13 inches! she is going to make me a coat for her anyway, I will ask her to make me a stretchy suit too!

    Works great! Recommend!
My 11 month old husky mix just got spayed a few days ago and we have been using this suit to protect her incision site and I couldn’t be happier with it. It’s easy to put on, it’s soft and seems comfy for her, it’s easy to unbutton the bottom and roll it up to go outside for her to go potty and it’s held up to washing as I interchange it with another one and wash as soon as I take it off. As far as sizing, she is 55 pounds and this is a medium plus BUT I actually like how the regular medium we got her in black fits more. There’s less gap around her legs near the incision when she lays a certain way. Highly recommend, just measure your dog for size!

    Ideal for dogs post surgery
This suitical coat is ideal for dogs who cannot tolerate wearing a cone. This brand is soft, comfortable, easy to get on and off and very good value for the price. I highly recommend this product. We have an extra one so one can be washed and dried if soiled. The only down side is that it cannot be dried in the dryer so needs to air dry. That is another reason to have an extra one. It is also well fitting and doesn’t chafe areas that may have an incision.
