Bought this as the vet come kept coming apart. This is so much better. The Velcro is strong and doesn’t suddenly fall apart. I bought a size large for our springer spaniel. There are 2 velcro strips, one thick and one thin. So it’s adjustable. Great buy.

Gave up with vet ones that came apart and brought this for my husky, size XL, fits great, not too deep so he can still drink while its on, but stops him chewing at a sore patch. Soft edge is also good and large velcro panel keeps it secure.

Had bought this to stop my Westie licking his paw that had developed an infection.The dog had other ideas!!If you have a pliable docile dog this would be a doddle to fit, if like me you have a dog that when he decides something ain’t going to happen it won’t, you will have fun fitting this thing!Firstly the collar is rigid slightly ribbed plastic with a large strip of velcro to fasten so i’d imagine a 10 second doddle to fit on most dogs.I managed to fit this first time after a few tellings off, a few dog treats and a couple of expletives expelled only to find it was not tight enough and the dog displayed a 5 second burst of ‘not avin this on me and got it off.The second application was even more fun!Having experienced the first fitting mutley was double sure this contraption was not for him!To cut a long story short i managed to fit it a second time correctly, what followed was a complete textbook Westie meltdown!Acrobatics, all sorts of shaking his head, scratching it with his paws the finally sitting there giving me the thousand yard stare!Don’t get me wrong, NO dog is going to like you fitting this to them, so keep that in mind if like me you own a strong willed dog!!He wore it for 30 mins and made it quite clear to me that dog being man’s best friend was now at risk!He won, it has never been fitted since.Good news is his paw is now better and he never wants to see this contraption again.So, a cautionary tale to all dog owners!!!Get ready for fireworks!!!

Ordered a medium and got a small delivered, ive reordered a xl after looking at the sizing guide included, hopefully i will recieve the correct size, item looks durable though and does look fit for purpose if it was correct size

The design itself is good as there is no messing around put on, but that’s as good as it gets. I have a German Shepherd so bought the biggest you can get. The dog has an issue with his ears so was bought to stop him scratching them. Over night he has been able to get his backleg over the cone had scratch. Now have to go the vets because he has made them bleed.

My Newfoundland big baby had a wound. And he wasn’t able to stop himself from licking it. He was so creative and alway found his way around it. This took several weeks to heal until I found this cone on Amazon. Only little problem is that the wrong size was sent but it still I’m beyond happy with the effectiveness of the product. The Velcro is so amazing that the Hugo didn’t find a way of the taking it off. Thank you
