I got this to try to tame my cats insatiable desire to eat everything put in front of him like it’s some kind of shark attack. As I write this he’s over 10 minutes in to a bowl of biscuits that he would have usually hoovered up in a couple of minutes. The ad stated it was for dogs or cats. It’s a little on the large size for cats but still perfectly functional. That said it could well be a little on the small size for a large dog.The box comedically refers to it being a Fun Slow Pet Fooder. Well it’s certainly fun to watch my cat having to work at his food and use his not inconsiderable brain power to get to the tricksy biscuits that just aren’t Co operating as he’d like them too.It came wrapped in plastic and boxed. It’s made of food grade silicon which surprised me as I’d anticipated more of a rigid plastic. I’m always unsure how hygienic anything plastic/rubber may be so will be cautious to see if this sustains damage from over eager teeth and claws due to the potential for scratches to harbour bacteria.A great feature is that the base has very effective suckers on it which anchor it quite firmly to a hard surface. I had quite the job peeling it from the kitchen counter but given the hammering it’s taking at the moment as the cat gets increasingly frustrated with his food not playing ball I think that’s a great idea.

It’s a nice, silicone bowl with an amusing fish-bone shaped divider. It works as intended but doesn’t manage to slow down out street dog pup very much.

Have 3 little Hippo’s , I mean dogs. Their current bowls are stainless steel with a plastic outer that they sit in.As a result they skid around a bit when the dogs are wolfing down breakfast/Tea.Got this bowl to see if it would stay where placed and to see if it slowed down their hungry Hippo like eating habits. It succeeds on both counts. The little suckers underneath will glue themselves to your worktop, so I recommend filling the bowl on top of your hob like I do.On the floor there is no movement and as the dogs have to fish the food out from between the raised fish shape .It does slow them down eating.Still every bit of food has gone by the time they have finished as they manage to get every last bit out. Sure the dogs enjoy the play element of getting every last bit.If you watch the video you can see Charlie (spaniel) working his way around the bowl while the Hippo’s (Pug’s) wolf down their food from the normal bowls.Recommended bowl, very sturdy and easy to wash.

We’ve used with our cat who has been OK with it but prefers his regular bowl. This is a little on the large size unlkess your cat is also large. It can be put into the dish washer which is a plus. On tiled floors I didn’t feel the suckers worked too well. This is an OK product but we gave it to our neighbour who has a dog and she’s pleased with it.

Product worked great and was a great size for a young Rottweiler who needed to slow down their eating.Bowl might be a bit big for small breeds but not overly big.No more chocking on her biscuits and meat flying everywhere. Plus, she can’t pick this bowl up and walk around with it, and chew it up.🐕🐕👌

This slow feeder bowl has been very useful for my cats as it’s bigger and more spacious in general. It is high quality made and well crafted. Would recommend.

This is a silicone slow feeder, not solid plastic. It’s a decent size for a small dog or a cat. I found the suction on mine isn’t great and my car can still push it around the countertop. You csn put it in the dishwasher so it’s easy to wash.

My border collie was terrible for gulping down food as though it was his last meal!He literally inhaled his food which would cause him to cough and sometimes be sick. The bowl stopped him from doing this and after only a few meal in the bowl, he has learnt to eat slowly – making his meal times much more pleasant.I have also fed him with a normal bowl and he doesn’t gulping with that bowl either. The bowl is quite sturdy, however was a little on the small side for my dog. This one was more suitable for a small breed such as a westie or a jack Russell.

Nice size for a medium sized dog
We have a doodle mix that devours her food, this has definitely helped slow her down. She seems to enjoy pulling out the small kibbles and the material it is made out of (rubber, I believe) makes it so the bowl never slides around, on top of all the suction cups. It goes absolutely nowhere.

Worked well
This was a great find for my dogs needs. I liked that it’s silicone so we don’t risk my very eager dog cracking his teeth while eating. I liked the suction cups on the bottom as well to keep the bowl in place.
