I’m very pleased with this. My elderly dog went missing over the fields a few weeks ago so I bought this in case he does it again.It updates your pets location very quickly and it would be very easy to find him if need be. The unit itself is a bit bigger than some but the battery lasts days, so that’s the pay off. My Jack Russell is not bothered by it. It fits securely to his collar and I couldn’t see that it would fall off.The app is easy to use and is full of features. I’d recommend it.

Fantastic bit of kit and great value for money. Stella, our deaf dog, is very well behaved and she’s excellent at her recall and checking in due to hundreds of hours of training with her when she was a puppy.However, she’s nearly 1 now and we have started to let her off the lead as we are fairly confident she will always comes back. Due to her deafness though, there’s always that worry she will run off and we won’t be able to call her back. This device gave us the peace of mind that we lose her, or she loses us and runs off in the wrong direction, we can always find her.It’s great for tracking her activity on walks too (and ours 😁), as it sort of acts a bit like an advanced doggie Fitbit/Strava type device keeping records of walk routes, calories burnt and time spent active. The app is very easy to navigate, use and set up for the primary user and overall has a very premium and polished feel to the software. There’s a social element too so you can see what walks other users and their dogs have done and how active their dogs are too as well as being able to compare your dog of similar age and breed to others and see how they stack up. There’s badges for achievements and the ability to set goals too.Multiple users can be added too but it’s a bit frustrating doing so as they need to create accounts too and link in via an emailed invite, my mum isn’t too tech savvy but she can get by with her smartphone and she wasn’t able to do it without help from me. Not really difficult to do but just unnecessarily fiddly, this process could be streamlined by a better “invite” system that directly links with the app rather than email, or just the ability to send an email link to click on that automatically links the invitee to the device. This is a very minor gripe though as the function does work perfectly once you figure it out.The accuracy of the GPS is fantastic and we have the top tier subscription and it offers great value for money in my opinion. Battery life is fantastic at several days, though I opt to charge it each time we get home from a walk using the handy magnetic charger so it’s always at 100% when I go out.There’s an ability to remotely turn on a bright light and an audio cue for situations where you may be in the dark looking for your dog, but the GPS really is accurate enough I’m not sure you’d ever need this feature, but it’s nice to know it’s there.You can also set up a virtual fence so if your dog usually roams free unattended you can set up a permitted perimeter that if the dog wanders outside of it will ping you a notification of where they are.I get notifications about the status of the device on my iPhone And my Apple Watch which is great too.This little device has certainly changed ours and our dogs lives as we go longer and further with our off lead walks.

I have been using this tracker for a while now, it is fairly reliable, and much better than one I was previously using. Its easy to setup, and add family members so they can track him too. The app is great and easy to use.Battery life is decent and it recharges fairly quickly. However it is slightly chunky, which is fine for my big dog, but may be too big for a smaller breed. It’s waterproof and sturdy, my dog is into everything and the tracker still holds up. It’s never once fallen off accidentally, which was something I worried about before buying.It also holds lots of information, including calories burnt, hours active, hours sleeping, and a comparison between my dogs activity and that of local dogs.I’m giving 4 stars as it randomly disconnects from my network, most of the time I can fix this in the app, rarely I have to power the tracker off/on, which is fine if I’m with my dog. This doesn’t happen often, so it isn’t a big problem.It gives me peace of mind, and for that reason alone I’d say it’s worth every penny.

This tracker is very accurate and well made. The normal tracking is very good and the live tracking is pin point accurate. I thought the Wellness monitoring would be a bit of a gimmick however I have found it very useful. Compared with our previous tracker this one far exceeds in all areas, would highly recommend.

Great product – really easy to use. We did encounter some challenges with failed software updates which meant we we were unable to switch off the unit. The Tractive Service team were great at investigating the issue and then arranged for a replacement unit to be sent FOC/under warranty. This arrived the following morning after completing the warranty form. I could seamlessly transfer our existing subscription. We got this product following our dog going missing on a walk at the start of the year. This had never happened in the 5 years, and recall is usually excellent with him, but something different happened that day… The tractive device gives us extra peace of mind, and we wouldn’t be without it. Thank you, tractive.

NOTA: El producto requiere de una suscripción para poder funcionar, misma que se puede adquirir en periodos de 1 mes o hasta por 5 años, en caso contrario el producto no servirá de mucho.En general es un producto que se siente de muy buena calidad, es fácil de instalar y lo que más me ha gustado es la posibilidad de llevar un registro del tiempo de actividad y sueño de nuestra cachorra, además que su tamaño y ligereza hacen que no sea algo estorboso al llevarlo en su collar.

Fantastic GPS & Very Affordable
First, I want to explain I rarely write reviews, I’ve never found a product that I was thrilled enough about that I was willing to recommend & take the time to leave a review for, this is the exception.I’ve always wanted a true GPS tracker for my last dog, who we lost a year ago, but the price plus subscription was way more than I could afford, so went the AirTag route, which as most people know, isn’t a reliable option for pets.Our new pup came to us over Father’s Day weekend & I was determined to get one for our new pup, who is a very active breed. Looked around & found a lot of very high priced options, then while watching tv, saw a commercial for Tractive GPS & decided to check them out. The reviews were enough to give it a try along with a very affordable price during Prime days in July.I purchased the two year tracker plan to take advantage of the discounted subscription price. Received it 3 weeks ago & charge it once a week. In 1 weeks time the battery level has never gone below 55% & charging is very fast. App setup was simple, attaching to my 15 week old puppy’s collar was easy & not as bulky as the others I’ve researched. Tracking is very accurate, the additional health tracking is very similar to what you’ve seen if you’ve used a smart watch. Tracks his sleep & activity, can also track & record walks, which I find very helpful, especially since he’s such an active breed, I want to make sure he is getting a lot of exercise. Also has the ability to set up a virtual fence that allows you to set up his normal safe zone & alert you when he leaves it.One of my favorite features is the family invite, which allows you to invite a family member or friend to track him. You enter in their information with their email, they are sent an invite with a link to the app, & they can track your dog through the app to. My adult, out of the house son & daughter are able to see his location worldwide & can see his activity, unfortunately, my daughter now yells at me if I haven’t taken him for enough walks during the day!The only con, may only be something I haven’t found how to control through the app, is when we take him somewhere in the car, it gives a warning that he’s out of his safe zone, hopefully I can figure out a way to override this, my kids panic call us when they see him leave the setup virtual fence when we’re on our way to puppy training class, gets a little annoying as we take him everywhere with us.Overall, I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a reliable GPS tracker for their fur friend, it’s affordable, accurate, & very durable.

Excellent device – know all my dogs activities
The annual subscription is a bit pricey. But 100% satisfied with the tracker. Have had several episodes of our border collie heading out during thunderstorms. One example – she went to several of our rural neighbors’ yards during a storm. I got the notification (at 2:00 AM) and tracked her down and called her from the road at her 4th neighbor visit and she came to road to and jumped in may car. It’d verry accurate and good battery life if she spends majority of her time close to house.
