This has quite a large footprint for an elevated bowl. The bowl itself is huge, allowing either a good serving of food or a plentiful water supply. It was easy to assemble, and the middle holder can be raised or lowered to the desired height. The bowl can also be angled, which makes it easier for the dog to get at the contents if they are a smaller height breed. If you want it straight, no problem. Either way, make sure that you select the angle first and then fix it together, otherwise, you have to take out the retaining screws and do it again. The large feet allow the bowl to be securely elevated from the ground and so far my dog has not tipped it over.Overall I think this is a good bowl, but slightly more than I would normally pay.

The bowl is easy to assemble, very sturdy, and It’s adjustable in both height and tilt. After choosing the angle of tilt the bowl is fixed into position which isn’t an issue unless you intend using it as a tilted feeding bowl and also as a level water bowl in which case you’d need to remove bolts, adjust, then replace the bolts.The dog in the photo looks like a border collie but he isn’t, he’s considerably bigger standing at around 60 cm at the shoulders. Adjusted to its maximum height I think the bowl would be suitable for dogs considerably taller than him. At its minimum height adjustment I suspect the bowl would also be fine for the average border collie or labrador dog too.At 3 litres the bowl is absolutely huge! As can be seen in the photo we placed the dog’s regular food bowl (170mm across) inside the 3 Litre bowl to give some idea of size. I see no disadvantage to having an extra large bowl, in fact it could be useful if it’s to be used as a water bowl as it’s unlikely to be drunk dry by even the thirstiest dog (or dogs.).

This elevated dog bowl came very well packed and in great condition as you’d expect.It’s very easy to set-up with the supplied hex key, including a spare bolt and nut. You can choose from around 7 different angles giving you a reasonable good set of options to suit your dog. You can’t quickly adjust the angle, you will need to use the hex key and undo the bolts. I don’t see this as an issue because once you’ve found a good angle you won’t need to change it and having bolts means it shouldn’t come loose as can be the case with friction nuts.The frame attached to the tripod through a very effective friction grip meaning you have some range to adjust the overall height too. This also allows for you to swivel the bowl so your dog doesn’t have to stand on a tripod leg when eating.The base itself has retractable legs which is handy for taking it with you on your doggo holidays. The base and frame feels very well designed and made. Despite only having 3 relatively short legs it is very stable and should stay standing even with a vigorously eating pooch.This large set, is really quite large indeed but suitable for any dog who would benefit from a raised bowl. Our deep chested Field Spaniel loves eating from it and rather handily his ears will naturally hang to either side of the bowl meaning no ear-fuelled “second dinners”.The bowl is very easy to clean, being made of stainless steel with a highly polished top face and really importantly no sharp edges or folds.
