With no price available, at the time of writing it’s impossible to say whether this is good value or not.However, it is possible to judge quality.And this screams quality from the first time you unpsck it from its plastic bags.Well, apart from having to clean up the spilled shampoo and conditioner. Off of almost everything, as they arrived all in the same bag , apart from the mitt.A packaging rethink required here.Even just some tape across the tops of the bottles would help.What it did though, was give us a good close up feel for all the included products, as we cleaned them:A brush mitten.A double sided brush.A bottle of shampoo.A bottle of conditioner.The mitten, branded with the Wahl logo, which looks great, is a big brush that you wear on your hand, obviously.It scared poor wee Buster, who is not easily spooked, initially. He really didn’t want to be brushed by it. We’ll try again once he gets over it.The double sided brush was a lot better received.He enjoyed a quick brush, with both sides, and it did the business with his coat.The shampoo looks great, smells fresh and was easy to lather up and rinse off.The conditioner smells lovely.It left Buster’s coat soft and smelling gorgeous.Wahl is a trusted name in grooming humans and it shows in its foray into dog grooming.It’s an excellent starter kit.Just the right products.No padding put or throwing in extra combs, detangling brushes or any extraneous bells and whistles. Sometimes literally whistles.No, just the right amount of the right products to get you up and running with your bathing and grooming routine.Having said that…A towel would have been a great addition.A bag to keep it all together would have bern a welcome addition too, as right now the bottles are kicking about the bathroom, while the brushes are in Buster’s big box of stuff. Possibly never to be found again, if the stuff keeps piling up from gifts and presents for him.So, Wahl, throw in a towel, a wash bag and fix the packaging and this would be even more amazing than it already is.Totally recommended..Helpful? This is a great quality puppy care set. It comes with a very good grooming mitt and double sided brush, plus shampoo and conditioner. The grooming mitt is great for getting your puppy used to being brushed, it’s more like being stroked/massaged and a pleasurable experience for your pup. The main brush has a brilliant gel type handle and two sides – it is good for use on both short and long coated dogs. The shampoo and conditioner are lightly scented and it leaves fur lovely and clean and very soft.Overall, a great puppy care starter kit. Would make a nice gift for a new puppy/dog owner.

A truly wonderful kit to care for you dog, it’s not just for puppies. The mot fits great on my medium sized hand with plenty of room for a larger hand too. A velcro strap secures around your wrist. Using the mitt is a comfortable experience and removed the loose fur from my short haired dog. Cleaning the mitt is easy, wipe off the fur with your other hand into the bin. I hand washed and dried over a warm radiator, it was cooling down.The brush is amazing. I only needed to use the softer brush side because my dogs fur is so short but if you have a fluffy pouch or long haired dog then this brush would detangle the fur with ease and remove loose fur. The handle is like nothing I’ve used before, it’s soikd but has a squidgy coating so moulds into your hand shape which make it super comfortable to use, especially if you’re having to brush your dog for a while. Once finished the squidginess returns to its normal shape. I actually stood and played with the brush for quite some time, I was fascinated with it.The shampoo is rich and you really don’t need much at all to get your dog scrubbed clean. It rinsed well too. The conditioner is recommended to leave on for 5 minutes but my dog wouldn’t stay in the bath that long so I rinsed straight after massaging in. It smells so fresh and beautiful, a subtle verbana fragrance is what it reminds me of.Currently it is just over £23 which may seem a lot but I think it’s well worth the money. The shampoo and conditioner will last me over 12 months on my short haired dog, if I had a Border Collie type dog having a monthly bath I’d say 6- 9 months because you really don’t need much. If the brush was for humans I’d expect to pay about £15-£20 just for that because it’s such a good brush.I think you can tell that I’m impressed with this kit and highly recommend it. The brand is well known and I’ve used their products before and I’ve always been happy with the products.I’ve enclosed a photo of my dog so you can see his fur type. It may help you.

Got this for my sister who’s got two shitzu doggies.While they are not a puppies, their hair and akin is rather sensitive so she tends to use puppy products.Ordered this when I’ve seen it as she was after a brush as well, it seems like a decent set, which can be gifted to someone.Dog hair are being washed nicely and they seem to be soft afterwards, there are no dandruff, dry or irritated skin.
