Unfortunately when I order this coat, there was not any measurements showing on the AD. So with my boy usually being in a XL/XXL and knowing brands can be a little out, so I ordered a 3XL for my fur boy but it is too small for him and looking at the back of the package he would need a 6XL.This review is for mainly a quality review, I do have over 19 years experience with dog products so still wanted to do this review to help others. I help various rescues, so the one I have will go to a rescue dog in kennels needing that extra warmth in this cold winter weather.It is a really nice quality lightweight dog coat, so I am a little gutted. The inner of the coat is lined with a lovely pola fleece, so should keep your fur kid nice and warm on the cold and windy days. Even tho the main outside layer of the coat feels soft, it feels really durable so should take alot of wear and tear. It is made of nice smooth polyester, giving the coat a nice waterproof barrier for those rainy days.I mainly got this dog coat because i do alot of walks in the dark, so the great reflective strips help you stand out more giving you added safety. The reflective strips run front to back on both sides, with a reflective strip running around the back for even more visablity.It as a great adjustable high collar with a drawstring, so is great to adjust closer to your fur kids coat in heavey rain. The back zipper is good as it also as a small piece of material running ago the inside of the zip so it doesnt easly snag on your fur kids coat.Overall it’s a lovely durable coat, that should last for a long time. This is a really well made dog jacket that zips up at the back making it very easy to put on compared to some other ‘under the belly’ fastening varieties. It’s just a shame the sizing is so confusing, we have a small Cockerpoo and he needed a ‘2XL’ size when he is normally a Small in most other brands. Make sure you measure your dog and refer to the sizing chart.

Ordered this for the smaller of my two Irish setters who does love to get wet and muddy on a walk but also then gets very cold from doing so. I was very disappointed with the sizing, I couldn’t even get it to zip up on him it didn’t even come close. I think this product needs it’s sizes looked at sharpish. And that is the reason it is having a 3* not 5*. The sizing is so far off it’s not even funny. However I’ll continue with the actual coat itself sizing aside.The coat is a vibrant blue colour and has two silver reflective strips one on each side which make it softer for low light walking. The quality isn’t too bad, the neck area is padded slightly so comfortable. On the back is a small flap and a small hole to attach the lead through the coat, however it’s very very small and would be a struggle to buckle up.The inside is lines with a fleece like material which does feel very warm and would do a good job at keeping your dog toasty.

I ordered for my medium size dog before they put a size chart on the description so guessing how most dog coats are incorrectly sized I went for an XL. In actual fact he needs either a 3XL or a 4XL depending on the 1-3cm leeway they say. The likelihood is that if I get one for his chest it is going to be about 3″ too long which is a shame as it is a lovey cosy coat.The zip runs well and has a placket to protect the dogs hair from getting caught it in. The reflector strips are broad and do their job. The hole for putting the lead thru is neatly done under the logo – not sure how strong the rubber will be when constantly opened as to whether the flap will eventually break off but it is a smart and neat solution. The interior has a warm fleece lining, the seams all looked very good and the collar has a drawstring to make it more cosy.My XL size is 15″ to the collar and girth is 20″ – if you dog is these measurements you may wish to go up a size if they are hairy or want it to be sure of length.Lovely coat as long as you take not of the actual measurements of your dog and the coat.

I am disappointed just because it would be a great coat for my crazy EBT but I didn’t select the right size. It is quite annoying that there is no sizing info in the description and you need to scroll through all the pictures to see the chart, why not duplicate it?Anyway, the coat itself is lovely. It has a warm lining inside and waterproof material on the top. All seams are nice and straight and the coat looks well-made and durable. The zipper works well and there is a pull string around the neck area if you need to make it a bit tighter and ensure that your dog’s neck is warm and cozy.
