The gorgeous Banjo modelling this coat in the pictures is a miniature labradoodle. He is wearing size large. He is around the same size as a miniature poodle, cavapoo, Jack Russell etc. Basically head about knee height. Banjo is a large small dog. These coats are made for small dogs but I see many comments that they’re too small. Labrador, GSD, poodle etc are not small dog breeds so this jacket will not fit them. The description could be a little clearer on this but the product is not at fault. Last year Banjo was a puppy and the small fitted him. The zip got caught and broke but it saw him through winter and he’d need another now he’s larger anyway. The best way is to measure your dogs chest and go by that alone.As far as the coat goes it’s great. It lasted the winter last year and I’m happy to buy a new one each year. I get a new coat every year so why shouldn’t he? Perhaps his new one will last longer now he’s not a puppy anymore but if the zip becomes tangled and breaks again I will update this review. It could be a little more waterproof but it keeps my little dog warm and that’s the main thing. The colour is great and he looks very stylish in it. I love that it’s got a built in harness too as this saves a lot of faffing about. I dont like to put him on his collar when he’s at the park as he gets quite excited to be there and jumps about.It doesn’t weigh him down as its not too heavy and he can run about in it and go toilet etc. It’s easy to clean and can be wiped off with a cloth. Haven’t noticed any nasty smell. I think it could be more reflective also.On the whole I recommend this jacket 👍

I’m over the moon with this product. I have a tiny puppy who gets cold easily when I take her out in her carrier backpack with my other dogs for walkies. She’s not safe to go on the ground yet while waiting for her 2nd jabs course.It’s extremely warm, easy to put onto a very wriggling puppy & although it a tiny bit too big for her, it stays in place. I love that it has a built in harness so I can clip her into her backpack to keep her safe. The coat is high quality & lightweight & very sturdy. She has room to grow into it as I can adjust/loosen the harness part when she’s safe to walk & can clip her lead onto it. It keeps her nice & warm in cold weather & gives her freedom of movement. I won’t hesitate to buy the bigger size when she grows out of it.A highly recommended item

Perfect size for our dog, super cute purple colour and covers most of her back as well. The harness also has reflective stitching so perfect for evening walks. The inside is nice and fluffy as well which is perfect.Only problem is that if your dog is that the harness straps are too long, we need to tighten it to the very end and even then it’s not snug and the straps will with move.Overall, good quality, perfect for the cold walks and very comfy for the dog as my dog had absolutely no problem sleeping with it on

I received the first one and tried it on Poppy my Zuchon, it was miles too big, but being Amazon I sent it straight back and reordered one 2sizes smaller and it fits her perfectly! Lovely colour and material very well made

I had the same coat last winter in purple. This was another one in a different colour to enable time to wash and dry. Very good coat, easy to put on, waterproof and fleece lined. All comfortable fastenings. My dog is a medium sized dog but needed a large coat.

This is a beautiful coat and dog seemed to like it. Felt warm but that was not the reason I purchased it, I wanted to protect my dog from getting wet. Unfortunately it failed on this. Not so much her back this remained dry, it was the underneath that became very wet, this was just walking on the pavement after the rain had finished. It would appear that there is a design issue as the water leaked through the leg holes and the dogs belly was soaking as was the inside of the coat. Such a shame.

Love this coat. Keeps our Westie warm and dry when out on walks in the rain. The built in harness is a bonus as many coats have nowhere to clip a leash except on a neck collar. It is so easy to put on. Our dog just steps into it with her 2 front paws and then I just pull it up and zip it up and job done. It packs up small enough to carry in a back pack so we always have it with us. I received next day delivery and there wasn’t a huge amount of packing with it which I really like.

It’s very good, came in good time and the correct ish size.Need to remember this is for small dogs, hence my small Spinger has an XXL. Which is a little baggie, but wouldn’t want a smaller size.Be nice if it was a bit cheaper though, hence the 4*

I loved this coat but unfortunately I had to order a size bigger than I needed because my dog was so big round due to gaining weight being on Apoquel tablets for irritation, so it was far too big for here length wise, i was so disappointed as I wouldn’t get a better coat anywhere else, believe me, I was so pleased with it that i didn’t want to part with it, I wished I had another bigger dog that it would have fitted but I don’t.
